THE AFGHANISTAN WOMEN'S NATIONAL TEAM X SOCCER WITHOUT BORDERS

Afghanistan's Women's National Team played its first international match less than 6 years ago. There has been a flurry of activity around the team this year despite, or perhaps in spite of, the incredible adversity the team has faced. 

Hummel sponsors the team and recently designed a powerful kit new for the women with the option for an inbuilt hijab and historical references woven into its patterns. 

The team is armed with two new coaches, both ex-professionals from the United States, and has its sights set on the 2016 South Asian Games.
